The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a
* Flood Warning for Urban Areas and Small Streams in... Marion County in south central Illinois... Washington County in south central Illinois...
* Until 1000 PM CST Saturday.
* At 358 PM CST, local law enforcement reported that flooding continues on some roads in the eastern portion of Marion county. There were also streams that continue to rise in parts of Marion and Washington counties due to the heavy rain which fell earlier today.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Centralia, Salem, Nashville, Okawville, Sandoval, Wamac, Central City, Odin, Kinmundy, Lively Grove, Irvington, Patoka, Ashley, Farina, Omega, Stephen Forbes Station, Fairman, Helm, Posen and Tonti. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 109 and 127. Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 41 and 61.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MARION, IL ... WASHINGTON, IL
