SUMMARY:
On December 2nd at 10:59 a.m. deputies responded to calls of a female walking on 4th St and Sunlight Dr. in Yucaipa, opening mailboxes and stealing mail. An observant resident kept watch on the female and updated deputies on her whereabouts. Deputies located the female suspect near 4th and Wildwood Canyon and detained her without incident.

Fry was booked at Central Detention Center on charges of criminal conspiracy, identity theft and possession of the stolen mail. She is being held on $50,000 bail.

Although mail and parcel theft is always a concern, it is particularly pervasive around the holidays. Be sure to collect your mail and parcels as quickly as possible after they are delivered. Most delivery companies offer services to let you know when parcels and envelopes are delivered. With your permission, some services will even deliver into your garage or to secure, off site lockers. Be vigilant, keep an eye out of your property and that of your neighbors and call us if you see suspicious people, vehicles or activity.
