Arrest Made in Criminal Threats Case
On December 3, 2019, San Francisco resident, Michael Depaulo, was arrested in the City of Richmond after he made threats to kill people at GoDaddy in Sunnyvale with a firearm.
On December 2, 2019, Depaulo called GoDaddy and stated he was minutes away from walking into the Sunnyvale GoDaddy location and shooting people with a shotgun at random. Sunnyvale DPS patrol officers and detectives immediately began an investigation and developedinformation that led detectives to a residence in the City of Richmond. Depaulo was taken into custody by the Richmond Police Department without incident.
The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety would like to thank the Richmond Police Department for their assistance in this case.
