Full Notification

Beginning Monday, December 9, construction will begin on the Eastlake Parkway Pedestrian Bridge in Chula Vista. The project will enforce a temporary closure of Eastlake Parkway from Strata Street to Hunte Parkway.

Construction of the concrete bridge and traffic detours will begin at 7 a.m. on December 9 and continue for approximately six months. There will be no night time work and all affected businesses and residents have been notified.

Metropolitan Transit Services will not be affected by this closure. All emergency services will be adequately accommodated.
