Recently, Walnut/Diamond Bar Station Detective Bureau conducted a burglary suppression operation in Walnut, Diamond Bar, and Rowland Heights. During the operation, Detectives discovered numerous vehicles with valuable items in plain view and a “Warning Notice” was placed on the vehicle. Personnel at Walnut/Diamond Bar station are proactively assisting the public by placing a “Warning notice” on your vehicle if you happen to leave valuable items in plain view.

With the assistance of the public, we can minimize the potential of you or your family being a victim of theft if you follow these certain steps:

- DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES VISIBLE INSIDE YOUR CAR
- REMOVE ALL GPS DEVICES AND RELATED ACCESSORIES  FROM YOUR CAR
- ROLL UP YOUR WINDOWS, LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS, AND ACTIVATE YOUR ALARM
