Be on the lookout for Blue Santa and his crew on Wednesday 12/18 as he makes special stops throughout Mount Kisco!
WCPD / Community Affairs
Don't be alarmed if you see a convoy of police vehicles on the move on Wednesday -- it's just WCPD's Operation BLUE SANTA coming to town.
BLUE SANTA and a squad of elves will begin by traveling throughout Mount Kisco on Wednesday afternoon in their special "police sleighs" to spread some holiday cheer throughout the community. The holiday squad, with a large sack of presents, will be making special stops to visit seniors, elementary school students, hospital patients and children at the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester.
On Wednesday evening, BLUE SANTA and his squad will also be joined by many Police, Fire and EMS agencies from all throughout Westchester County for our special "Good Night Lights" initiative to brighten the holidays for patients at Westchester Medical Center. A contingent of police motorcycles will lead BLUE SANTA, followed by elves in police cars, fire trucks and ambulances. This Blue Crew will converge outside the Children's Hospital to bring a ton of well wishes and waves of support to the patients, family members and staff looking out their windows. The WCPD Aviation Unit will also be participating from above.
If you're in the vicinity of the Westchester Medical Center Wed. evening, please anticipate seeing a large presence of emergency vehicles from about 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
