The Milpitas Police Department will continue to conduct similar operations and be proactive in protecting residents from being victims. We would like to remind our residents to consider having packages delivered to their workplace or to the home of a relative/neighbor/friend whom may be home during the delivery time. Online retailers, such as Amazon, allow for packages to be delivered to Amazon Hub Lockers and in addition to allowing their Prime customers to choose, Amazon Day, which allows you to pick delivery on the day you choose. Taking these steps could prevent you from becoming a victim of package theft.
