Recently, the number of package thefts throughout Southern Buncombe County - has been on the rise. This Holiday season, please be alert to the possibility of your packages being stolen. Have your packages sent to PO boxes or put on hold at the Post Office, when you are away. You can also require a signature for deliveries. If you are at home, be aware of when packages are most likely to arrive and check your boxes or your porch as soon as possible to avoid the parcels from sitting for extended periods of time.
