Water Shutdown on Kenoza Avenue
This message is from the Haverhill Water Department. The water will be shut down for several hours, TOMORROW, Thursday 12/19 and again on Monday 12/23. TOMORROW, Thursday the water will be off from approximately 10 AM to around 10 PM. Monday's shutdown will be from 7 AM to approximately 7 PM. This is necessary to replace the Water Main Valves on Kenoza Avenue that are over 125 years old. The Shut down area includes Kenoza Avenue, from Monument Square to Lawrence Street, and side streets between Kenoza Avenue and Howard Street, Lincoln Street, Fay Place, Warren Street, Webster Street, Davis Place and Forest Avenue. Other streets that may have low pressure or short loss of service are, Travers Street, Webster St to Ashland, Highland Avenue to Upton St. and Lawrence St to Fountain St. You can prepare by collecting jugs of water for cooking, cleaning or drinking and buckets of water to refill the toilet for flushing. Do this the night before to be ready. We will make every effort to keep the shut down as short as possible. Thank you for your patience during this project. If you have questions please call Haverhill Water Department, Monday through Friday 7: AM to 3 PM at (978) 374-2368
