The Sleepy Eye Police Department has been made aware of a scam in the area. Residents have gotten a text message stating that Monsignor Lozinski request they call him. If that call is made there is a request for money from the resident. This is a scam; no money should be given based on this. Monsignor Lozinski and the St Mary’s Catholic Church are not sending text messages to people. If you have any questions, please call the Sleepy Eye Police Department at 507-794-3711.
