A concerned resident alerted deputies of an unfamiliar vehicle in the area; a wanted, felony probationer was arrested

LOCATION: Carson Lane / 7th St., Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Richard Warren, 30 years old, Transient
SUMMARY:
On December 25, 2019 at 8:21 a.m. a concerned citizen reported an unfamiliar white BMW sedan parked in the neighborhood with a male subject inside who was possibly not breathing.
Deputies arrived and contacted the occupant of the vehicle, Richard Warren, who was found to be asleep. Warren was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) out of San Bernardino, on felony probation out of Hemet, out on bail from an arrest in Hemet and had a $60,000 Riverside County felony arrest warrant.
During a probation search of the vehicle, deputies located approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine, several pounds of marijuana, numerous unknown pills and indicia of drug sales.
Warren was booked at the West Valley Detention Center, where he’s being held on $190,000 bail.
