Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of Richard Ambriz in Victorville

LOCATION: 16000 block of Pebble Beach Drive, Victorville
VICTIM: Richard Ambriz, 27 years old, resident of Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 1:11 a.m. deputies responded to multiple calls of gunshots heard in the area. Deputies and medical personnel arrived and found a man, later identified as Richard Ambriz, laying face down and unresponsive on the street. Ambriz was suffering from gunshot wounds and medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Detectives from the Homicide Detail responded to conduct the investigation. Detectives have not identified any suspects, nor have they determined a motive for this shooting.
