Synopsis: A 60 year old white male adult was walking east bound across the south bound lanes of 4000 Sports Arena Blvd. The male was crossing outside of a crosswalk and mid-block. A dark colored Honda was driving south bound in the S-2 lane of Sports Arena Blvd. The Honda struck the pedestrian and fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital by paramedics. The male sustained a serious fracture to the lower right leg. The Honda was last seen continuing South on Sports Arena Blvd. SDPD Traffic Division Officers responded to the scene and are handling the investigation.
