As we ring in 2020 we want to wish you a Happy New Year and remind our residents to remain vigilant.  One of the best ways to keep our community safe is to ensure that your car doors are locked, keys/fobs are removed, and valuables aren’t visible.  It is also a good practice to make sure garage doors are down and doors and windows are locked.  The Chicagoland area, including the Lincoln-Way community, continue to experience cars being burglarized and stolen during the overnight and early morning hours.  In these cases offenders continue to target unlocked cars and cars with keys/fob left inside.   The Village of Frankfort has experienced incidents, as have our surrounding communities.  As always if you see or hear something suspicious - say something!
