Rebuild by Design

On behalf of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the Engineering Team for Rebuild by Design will be drilling one soil boring at the vacant lot north of Harborside Park, east of Park Avenue near 16th Street on Monday 1/6/2020 and Tuesday 1/7/2020. Minor noise will result from this work from 8 AM - 4 PM, in compliance with the City's noise ordinance. This geotechnical investigation is part of the engineering design analysis for the $230 million federally-funded Rebuild by Design project, which will resist coastal flooding like occurred during Superstorm Sandy.
