Fort Branch woman arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines. 
On January 3, 2020, at 5:08 p.m. Deputy Zach Lienemann went to the 500 block of South Railroad Street in Fort Branch, Indiana to follow up on a service call at a residence from the prior night. Upon entering the residence Deputy Lienemann observed drug paraphernalia sitting in plain view on the kitchen table. At that point Deputy Lienemann began a drug investigation that resulted in 45-year-old Janet Wirth of Fort Branch being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Ms. Wirth was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Methamphetamines. She remains in custody on a $750 bond.
Assisting Deputy Lienemann in his investigation was Fort Branch Chief Darrell Parker and Officer Jeff Beck.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
