Synopsis: A black male suspect entered the Taco Bell restaurant and approached the counter. An employee was standing at the cash register. The black male suspect pulled a black semi-automatic handgun from under his shirt and pointed it at the cashier. The suspect demanded cash from the register. The clerk removed the cash drawer and put it on the counter. The suspect then took cash from the cash drawer. The suspect then fled the restaurant by exiting out of the west door. The suspect entered the passenger's door of a white vehicle , which was waiting just outside the doors. The suspect vehicle then fled the area. The employees called the police after an approximate thirty minute delay. During that time delay SDPD patrol officers observed a white vehicle driving erratically in Linda Vista. They stopped the vehicle at 1400 Ulric St. As a result of the investigation during the traffic stop it was determined the males in the vehicle were involved in the robbery of the Taco Bell. The males were arrested for Robbery and possession of a loaded firearm. The males were booked into jail. The males were identified as Lateef Abdu, 24 years old, and Abdirahim Nour, 19 years old. Both suspects are residents of San Diego. SDPD Robbery Detectives responded and are conducting the investigation.

Synopsis: A 38 year old black male was walking W/B on the south sidewalk of 3800 T St. As he approached the intersection of 38th Street he saw a black sedan facing S/B on 38th St. The sedan stopped and a Hispanic male exited from the front passenger seat. The Hispanic male started to approach him rapidly with a handgun in his hand. The black male victim turned and started to run away. The victim heard two or three shots and felt pain in his leg. He realized he had been shot and continued to run. The Hispanic male returned to the vehicle and it drove away S/B on 38th St. The victim went to his home where police were called. The male was transported to an area hospital by paramedics for treatment of his non-life threatening wound. The male sustained a single gunshot wound to his left upper leg. The vehicle was described as a black sedan, possibly a Hyundai Genesis. The suspect was described as a young, light skinned Hispanic male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Southeastern Division Detectives will be handling the investigation.
