Low pressure/flow in system
A line broke overnight causing A tanks to discharge most of their capacity until staff could identify and shut off the line. The system is recharging at maximum capacity, however it will take time to fully recharge the water lines.
Reducing consumption (laundry and other high loads) will speed up the process. Please do not leave taps running. The more water being used the longer it will take to recharge the system.
We remind you that the Adak system is under a continious boil water notice (due to lack of system filtration) and recommend for at least the next 24 hours to ensure any drinking water be boiled first.
Instructions:
Reduce consumption (laundry and other high loads). Shut off all taps not being used and do not let taps run unnecessarily.
