The City of Flatwoods has had several requests from our residents to have curb side pick-up for their recycle material. I have talked with our Trash Collections Service Company and they are willing to provide this service. We will need two hundred (200) residence to sign up for this service to begin. The cost will be $ 7.50 per month, added to the water bill. This includes 1 container with instructions on the lid of the acceptable material.
This also pays for the disposal of the recycled material. The pick-up will be each Friday throughout the city. We have a sign-up sheet in the front office where water bills are paid. If you live in the City of Flatwoods and would like this service, please sign up and hopefully the service will begin soon.
