Snow Emergency 6pm 1/10/2020 through 12pm 1/12/2020. Vehicles must be removed from designated snow routes. 
The city of Mount Vernon is declaring a snow emergency beginning at 6:00 p.m. tonight January 10th 2020 the snow emergency will remain in effect until 12:00 p.m. noon on Sunday 01/12/2020 all vehicles must be removed from designated snow routes violators could receive a $25 fine and have their vehicle impounded.
