* Flood Warning for... Northern Johnson County in southern Illinois... Williamson County in southern Illinois... Saline County in southern Illinois... Franklin County in south central Illinois... Hamilton County in south central Illinois...
* Until 330 PM CST.
* At 937 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain over the area. The rain will cause flooding. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of up to one inch are possible in the warned area.
* AFFECTED AREAS: FRANKLIN, IL ... SALINE, IL ... HAMILTON, IL ... JOHNSON, IL ... WILLIAMSON, IL
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots.
