A line of storms is expected to impact the area later today. Most of Georgia is under the threat for severe weather with the highest risk near the AL/GA state line. Primary hazards are tornadoes, damaging winds of > 60mph, and locally heavy rainfall.
A Wind Advisory has been issued from 7 am - 10 pm Saturday. Even outside of thunderstorms, wind gusts as high as 35 mph can be expected. With wet soils, gusts could down some trees.
