Synopsis: Two black male suspects approached the victim while he was sitting in his blue 2007 Hyundai Sonata (CA/5XXK569), in the parking lot of the Nordstrom Rack at the Mission Valley Mall. The two suspects confronted the victim on the driver’s side of the vehicle. One suspect pointed a black semi-auto handgun at the victim and demanded he give them his vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle and both suspects got into the vehicle. One of the suspects noticed the victim's cell phone in the vehicle and asked for the passcode which the victim gave them. The suspects fled the parking lot, eastbound on Camino Del La Reina. The suspects were described as black males, 20 to 25 years of age and 150 to 180 pounds. Both suspects wore black hoodies and blue jeans. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.
