Detective Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged April Danielle Causby, 33, address listed as School Street in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
                Watson also charged James Boyd Woodard Jr., 33, address listed as Proctors Knob Road in Marion, with possession of drug paraphernalia.
                On the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 30, Watson stopped a Chevrolet pickup truck on Jacktown Road for traffic violations.
                Woodard was driving, and Causby was the passenger.
                A subsequent search turned up drug paraphernalia on Woodard and 1 gram of methamphetamine and some drug paraphernalia in Causby’s possession.
