Reports of Thefts from Unlocked Vehicles 
The Ogden Dunes Police Department has received reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles in the Portage area. Reports state there are 4 subjects in a smaller SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee or similar vehicle.
If you see any suspicious activity, call police IMMEDIATELY!
DO NOT APPROACH as these subjects may be armed.
The ODPD would like to remind residents to lock their houses, shut garage doors and to lock vehicles. Many vehicle burglaries and thefts begin with a door that was left unlocked. Also, do not leave valuable items or keys in the vehicle. If you must leave valuable items in the vehicle, be sure they are out of sight and that the doors are locked.
