...WINTRY MIX OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN THURSDAY NIGHT... .High confidence exists for travel impacts across southwest and central Kansas, due to widespread sleet and freezing rain. The precipitation may begin as a mix of snow or sleet, with minor snow amounts late Thursday afternoon in the far west before changing over to all freezing rain and/or a sleet and freezing rain mix through early Friday morning. Expect slick travel conditions. Ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch on sidewalks trees and elevated surfaces early Friday morning.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Minor snow accumulations. Ice accumulations of around two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Highest accumulations of ice of one to two tenths of an inch east of a Meade to Hays line. Accumulations less than a tenth on an inch farther west.
