City of Howell Snow Emergency 7 p.m. Friday, January 17th Through 4 p.m. Sunday, January 19th

Please be advised that in anticipation of the expected severe winter weather event, the City of Howell is declaring an advanced "Snow Emergency" from today, Friday evening 7:00 pm through Sunday evening 4:00 p.m. This advance notice will allow residents time to prepare and make alternate arrangements for parking along with allowing our Police Department adequate time to notify residents at a more reasonable time of the day.

During the emergency all vehicles must be removed from the street to allow public works personnel to perform winter maintenance in a safe and efficient manner. Vehicles that are not removed will be towed at the owner’s expense. On street parking in the Central Business District will be permitted during normal permitted parking hours. Please monitor the City website, access channel and local media for updates as weather conditions may change and require further modifications to this emergency.

Please help us keep our roads safe.
