BOIL ORDER UPDATE
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The City took six water samples to KDHE's laboratory in Topeka yesterday morning. After the 24-hour testing period was completed, all six samples tested negative for bacteria. This confirmed that the City's water supply is safe and should result in our boil order being rescinded. KDHE is the only entity that can rescind the boil order. We appreciate the community's patience and understanding during this crisis.
We are optimistic that KDHE will be rescinding the boil order in the very near future.
