01/15/2020 @ 2030-2315. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a leather backpack containing a laptop computer and two pairs of sunglasses from the back seat. #00310

01/15/2020 @ 2115-2330. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a backpack containing an IPad, watch, $300 cash, and gift cards from the rear floorboard. #00311

01/18/2020 @ 2359. A man and a woman were walking EB on the sidewalk of Dicks Street when a vehicle stopped near their location. A passenger in the vehicle rolled down the front passenger’s side window and yelled at the victims. The suspect then pointed a handgun at the victims while the vehicle slowly drove away. #00351

01/18/2020. An unknown suspect cut the lock and removed a bicycle from the balcony of the residence. #00364

01/18/2020 @ 1930-0900. An unknown suspect removed four pairs of sunglasses from the driver’s side door and two pairs of sunglasses from the glove box of the unlocked vehicle. The suspect also removed a leather bag containing a weightlifting belt from the trunk. #00362

Strong Arm Robbery (Attempt)
Hancock Avenue / Santa Monica Blvd
01/19/2020 @ 0130-0140. A man was walking EB on the sidewalk of Santa Monica Blvd when he was approached by two men. One suspect punched the victim in the face and demanded his wallet and cell phone. A struggle ensued but the victim was able to retain his property. No loss. #00357
 
Armed Robbery
Cynthia Street / San Vicente Blvd
01/19/2020 @ 0400-0405. A man was walking on Cynthia Street when a vehicle pulled to a stop near his location. Three men exited the vehicle and walked towards the victim. The suspects demanded the victim’s money and struck him in the face with a metal bar. The victim fell to the ground and the suspects searched his pockets and removed his passport. #00358
