The 1000 block of South Broadway Street (at Masters Academy) is closed for traffic to allow town electrical crews to repair a utility pole damaged in a single car vehicle accident. It is estimated the repairs will take approximately 4 hours. A limited number of residences in close proximity to the accident location will experience power loss while repairs are being made.
We are asking travelers to detour onto Hwy 74 East to Old Caroleen Road to Mount Pleasant Church Road to avoid the area. Local streets are open and my be utilized to avoid the road closure for those living and visiting the area.
