Earlier this afternoon, National City Police Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of East 8th Street on a report of a missing 65 year old who was at-risk due to medical related issues. Officers responded and began an extensive search for the missing adult. A law enforcement helicopter made several announcements in the surrounding neighborhoods to assist with the search.

With the assistance of the police officers, community members, and family members, the missing person was located safe and sound.

The National City Police Department would like to thank everyone for helping us in our search for the missing person, who has now been reunited with his family.
