The manhunt for Talleon Stephon Brazil ended today (Saturday, February 1) after being apprehended by authorities in Detroit.
Brazil was improperly released by Ohio authorities on Jan. 21 after facing criminal charges in court there. The search began Jan. 30 when Ohio authorities informed the Michigan Department of Corrections he had been released by mistake.
He was taken into custody by the MDOC’s Absconder Recovery Unit at approximately 4 p.m. after authorities found him at a home in Detroit following several days of surveillance and intelligence gathering.
