The Old Plank Road Trail will be closed on 02/05/20- 02/07/20 from Pfeiffer Rd to Harlem Avenue for vegetation maintenance.  If you have questions regarding this closure, please refer them to the Forest Preserve District of Will County.
 
We would like to remind our residents to be vigilant in personal and property safety.  Be aware of your surroundings and call in any suspicious persons, vehicles, or incidents immediately.  Through the month of February the Frankfort Police Department is setting up 9PM Safety Reminders via Facebook and Twitter.  Set an alarm and make the 9PM Routine a habit.  Check to make sure vehicles doors are locked, valuables and keys are removed from your car, and your overhead garage door is closed.  
 
Once again, please call police when you see or hear anything suspicious.  It is this joint partnership between the police and the community which helps keep us all safe.
