* At 1103 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Two to four inches of rain has fallen over the past 24 hours and roadways have been closed due to flooding. Expect isolated flooding conditions to persist over the next few hours. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clayton, Clarkesville, Cornelia, Baldwin, Demorest, Mount Airy, Alto, Mountain City, Tiger and Dillard.
