Flood Warning until 07:30AM Friday 
The National Weather Service in BLACKSBURG has issued a
* Flood Warning for... Smyth County in southwestern Virginia... Tazewell County in southwestern Virginia...
* Until 730 AM EST Friday.
* At 723 PM EST, reporting gauges indicate continued flooding along several creeks and stream in the warning area, including the Clinch, north fork of the Holston, and upper Bluestone Rivers. This flooding is the result of widespread two to three inches rainfall amounts which fell earlier today. Several roads have been reported closed due to flooding, with water rescues and evacuations taking place in and around the community of Richlands.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marion... Richlands... Bluefield... Tazewell... Saltville... Chilhowie... and Cedar Bluff. Additional rainfall amounts of one half inch are possible in the warned area overnight as another band of rain passes across the area.
* AFFECTED AREAS: TAZEWELL, VA ... SMYTH, VA

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when the threat of flooding is more difficult to see.
