The National Weather Service in BLACKSBURG has extended the
* Flood Warning for... Smyth County in southwestern Virginia... Tazewell County in southwestern Virginia...
* Until 130 PM EST Friday.
* At 700 AM EST, river and stream gages, along with highway department reports indicated flooding across Smyth and Tazewell County. The Clinch River is still in flood around Richlands, and many roads are closed in both Smyth and Tazewell County.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marion... Richlands... Bluefield... Tazewell... Saltville... Chilhowie... and Cedar Bluff.
* AFFECTED AREAS: TAZEWELL, VA ... SMYTH, VA

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
