LOCATION: 20400 block of Sago Ln, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Jeffery McCutcheon, 27-year-old, resident of Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): Two adult females, both of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, February 9, 2020, at approximately 7:35 pm, deputies were dispatched to a family disturbance at a residence in the 20400 block of Sago Lane in the Town of Apple Valley.
Deputy Jarred Kabluyen arrived on scene and contacted the residents. Deputy Kabluyen learned the suspect, Jeffery McCutcheon, assaulted his estranged girlfriend by punching and kicking her. McCutcheon also held the victim to the ground, preventing her from leaving the residence and threatened to kill her if she left. McCutcheon’s relative attempted to intervene on the girlfriend’s behalf she too was assaulted by McCutcheon. Both victims sustained minor injuries. McCutcheon was arrested and transported to High Desert Detention Center where he was booked on the above charges. McCutcheon is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
