The Human Services and Recreation Department and volunteer Black History Parade and Festival Planning Committee are honored to host the 39th Annual Pasadena Black History Parade and Festival. This is one of the longest-running and largest Black History celebrations in Southern California. A full schedule of events celebrates the achievements of and recognizes African Americans in U. S. History. The parade begins on N. Fair Oaks Ave. and Figueroa Dr. at 10:00 a.m., and concludes at Robinson Park, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave. where the festival immediately follows the parade. Applications for Black History Parade Entry and Festival Vendors are still being accepted at Jackie Robinson Community Center for vendor and parade entries. For the online vendor application, visit
