Wilmington Police arrest man on theft and trespassing charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on theft and trespassing charges.
On February 12 at approximately 4:25 p.m. police responded to the area of 200 block of West 11th Street for a suspicious person. Police made contact with 37-year-old Jamaal Chavis and through investigative measures, were able to identify him as a suspect in a theft from vehicle incident. Chavis was taken into custody without incident.
Chavis was charged with the following offenses:
- Theft Under $1,500
- Criminal Trespass (3rd degree)
