Homicide detectives investigating shooting death of male adult in Altadena 
Sunday at 1:03 pm in the afternoon, several calls to 911 were made reporting shots fired. A male adult was found and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Our Homicide Bureau Detectives are on scene and will be releasing a statement soon. A motive for the attack is unknown, and no suspect information was available for release to the public at this time.
Both east and westbound lanes of Figueroa are closed from Lincoln Ave to Casitas Ave. Please avoid the area.
