Homicide investigation in the 2100 block of Grove Street.

Synopsis: On the listed date and time, National City Officers responded to a call of possible gunshots heard in the 2100 block of Grove Street. Upon arrival, officers located a subject who had been shot in the leg. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. As officers were looking for a crime scene in the area, they located a second victim at the intersection of Grove Street and E. 22nd Street. The victim was treated by paramedics and succumbed to his injuries.
NCPD Detectives arrived on scene and took over the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
