Homeowner Scam

On Monday, February 17, 2020 around noon, two subjects posing as power company employees were allowed into a home in Whitefish Bay.  While in the home, they distracted the homeowner and stole jewelry.  One of the subjects was described as a male Hispanic, in his early 30’s, approximately 5’06” to 5’08” tall and 160 lbs.  The subject had a close trimmed goatee, grey jacket, khaki cargo pants, with a lanyard around his neck and carrying a clipboard.  The subjects were in a newer silver/grey small SUV.  No description was given of the second subject.

Other North Shore Police agencies have had similar incidents reported to them in recent weeks.  Please be careful of those you allow in your residence.  If you have any questions about their identity please contact police immediately.

If you have elderly neighbors please alert them to this activity as they may not be subscribed to email and text notifications.
