Stallion Springs Police arrested three suspects involved in a home invasion robbery that occurred on Tuesday, February 18th 2020 in the 17000 block of Carlisle Drive.
On February 23, 2020 at approximately 0500 hours, Kern County Sheriff Dispatch received a call of a disturbance in the 28900 block of Horsethief Drive. The suspicious subject rang the front doorbell and the fled in an unknown direction.
Within thirty minutes, responding Officers who were on duty located a black Toyota Prius, occupied and parked in front of an unoccupied residence. Officers performed a felony stop on the vehicle. The vehicle matched the description from the original home invasion robbery.
During a subsequent investigation, officers located evidence linking the three of the four subjects to the home invasion robbery that occurred on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 and evidence of an additional unreported burglary that occurred in Los Angeles County area. Officers recovered five firearms, as well as stolen property from the home invasion robbery, from the suspect vehicle. Also recovered were ski masks and plastic gloves.
Romelo Pride, 23 years old, male from Duarte, California was booked at the Central Receiving Facility Jail on charges including Home Invasion Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Carry Concealed Weapon in a Vehicle, False Imprisonment, Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, Conspiracy and Child Endangerment.
Malcolm Adams, 32 years old, male from Palmdale, California was booked at the Central Receiving Facility Jail on charges including Possession of Stolen Property and Child Endangerment.
Two male juveniles from Los Angeles County were booked into the James G. Bowles Juvenile Hall for Home Invasion Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Carry Concealed Weapon in a Vehicle, False Imprisonment, Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, and Conspiracy.
The Stallion Springs Police Department would like to especially thank the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Bear Valley Police Department and the Stallion Springs Police Volunteers for their assistance in this investigation. This is one of many instances demonstrating the excellent working relationship that exists between law enforcement agencies within Kern County.
