Crimes Against Children Detectives arrested Troy Johnson of Apple Valley for Possession of Child Pornography

SUSPECT: Troy Johnson, 29 years old, resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division, began an investigation into the downloading, possession and distribution of child pornography. Through investigation, it was determined the child pornography was distributed from a home in Apple Valley.
On Thursday, February 27, 2020, personnel from CAC, Hi-Tech Division and the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station, served a search warrant at a residence in the 12900 block of Navajo Road in Apple Valley. Investigators contacted Troy Johnson at the residence. Johnson was found to be in possession of over a thousand images and videos of child pornography. At the end of an interview with Johnson, he was arrested for possession of child pornography. Johnson was subsequently booked into High Desert Detention Center and bail was set at $25,000.
