...Slippery Roads from Overnight Snow for the Morning Commute...
Persistent light to sometimes moderate snow overnight brought
light accumulations across much of the area. Any remaining snow
will be ending by 7 AM, and will quickly be replaced by clear to
partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 20s. The combination
of the overnight snow and cold temperatures will mean scattered
slippery spots across much of the area. This will be particularly
true on rural and secondary highways.
Morning commuters should be prepared for slower travel this
morning, not only in any remaining areas of light snow, but also
outside of the falling snow where refreeze or untreated roads will
remain a possibility until after sunrise.
