We are now accepting applications for our next Community Academy class, scheduled to begin on April 2, 2020. The Burbank Police Department Community Academy was created to give individuals an opportunity to see how police officers work and gain a better understanding of departmental operations. The Community Academy course is designed to familiarize citizens with the department’s community policing philosophies, internal policies, and the guiding principles of law and ethical conduct governing the delivery of police services within our community.

Eligible candidates must live or work in the City of Burbank.
