Deputies arrest Trevor McNutt for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Criminal Threats

SUSPECT(S): Trevor McNutt, a 23-year-old resident of Highland
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY:
On February 28, 2020, at approximately 3:01 p.m., deputies from the Highland Police Department responded to Tioga Lane in the City of Highland reference a subject, identified as Trevor McNutt, who had a gun in his hand threatening to kill family members. While deputies were enroute to the location McNutt left the residence on foot wearing a tactical armor-plated vest and, was armed with a handgun. McNutt was seen heading into the hills near the incident location. With the assistance of the Sheriff’s Department Aviation Division they were able to guide the responding deputies to him. McNutt was contacted and taken into custody near the dead end of Baseline. McNutt was arrested for Criminal Threats, Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was booked into custody.
