Police incident at Bayside Apts concluded 
UPDATE: The incident at Bayside Apartments was resolved peacefully. 4th Avenue is now open and residents are free to enter the area.
Just before 8 pm, Alaska State Troopers had requested Seward PD assistance with stopping a vehicle involved in the brandishing of a firearm. The vehicle failed to stop and after a short pursuit came to a stop near Bayside Apartments. The driver refused to get out of the vehicle, resulting in a several hours long standoff. A SERT team responded from Soldotna and the individual eventually surrendered peacefully just after 11 pm. No injuries to the individual or law enforcement personnel.
