MERIDIAN- Meridian community members are invited to attend the annual Keys To Safe Driving course on Saturday, March 14th from 9:00am to 11:00am. The free class is tailored to benefit drivers ages 50 and older. Meridian Police Traffic Officer, Will Stoy, will provide attendees with two hours’ worth of helpful information to keep them safe behind the wheel. Keys to Safe Driving will be held at the Meridian Police Department (1401 East Watertower).
“Keys To Safe Driving goes over many safety topics including the current driving laws, how and when to report a crash, along with safe driving techniques,” said Officer Will Stoy, “I go over a lot of material and then open it up for discussion, so I can help answer any specific questions our residents have related to driving in Meridian.”
Seniors who attend will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, which may qualify them for insurance rate discounts.
Registration is not required, however if you have questions regarding Keys To Safe Driving, contact Crime Prevention Specialist Sarah Herrick at (208) 846-7307.
