The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* North and Central Georgia.

* Through this evening

* Moderate to heavy rainfall will continue through today. Additional rainfall totals between one and two inches are likely, with some locally higher amounts possible were storms repeatedly move. With ongoing high streamflows and already- saturated soils, runoff from this additional rain will lead to a greater threat of flash flooding.
